MMS London is the all day event turning the typical corporate conference on its head. We spent the day with the delegates and here's what we found.
On a scorching July 6th, 2017, the #MMSMobile landed in London and brought a hub of creativity and forward thinking; a theme that carried through every piece of content shared and every conversation in the heart of London’s innovation centre, at the iconic Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, in East London. With a laidback, cool mixture of mainstage presentations, fireside chats, panels and networking opportunities, delegates also had the chance to get creative and collaborate on mobile challenges in Chatham house rules workshops. Peers shared solutions and together took the mobile ad industry a step forward.
This invite only event welcomed close to 500 delegates from brands, agencies, publishers and pioneering digital marketers from the UK ad tech industry, learning from one another and sharing “insight, innovation and intelligence” as Daniel Brain, Head of Content for MMS explained.
Celtra was proud to be the Premium Content Partner at MMS London. We believe strongly in empowering brands, agencies and publishers with a greater understanding of the mobile creative opportunities, and leading discussions around creative technology for data-driven video, rich media and native advertising. We were on site speaking to delegates about creative technology and building better ads seamlessly in the Creative Management Platform.
Matevz Klanjsek, CPO and co-founder of Celtra took to the stage for a ‘fireside chat’ with the MMS London host, Mark Adams, Head of Innovation at VICE. The topic of conversation was ‘Finding the soul in mobile advertising.’
"Advertising is one of the most beautiful and honest industries. Digital advertising has a soul and a beauty; we need to get back to obsessing on the creative & obsessing less over the technology,” said Matevz Klanjsek on the importance of using emotive, beautiful and engaging ads on mobile. The poetry in an ad can and should be carried through to mobile advertising, not limited to poor versions of a once beautiful ad.
We were thrilled to see an incredible line-up of speakers taking to the main stage this year, including..
Till another year, we'd like to thank our friends at MMS London, who made it all possible and incredibly worthwhile.
